The hugely popular PickUp range of filters from Eheim are simple, efficient, and reliable.
The pump sucks water in at the base of the unit and carries it through the sponge filter cartridge before returning the filtered water into the aquarium through the adjustable output nozzle at the top of the unit.
Maintenance on these user-friendly filters is simple; the canister can be easily removed from the pump housing, while leaving the pump housing itself in place in the aquarium. This makes cleaning out the sponge media a simple and hassle-free process.
The filter comes complete with your first filter sponge, making this a plug-and-play unit that will suit a range of applications and will appeal to beginner fish keepers to experienced hobbyists alike.
